ALL IOWA SNOWMOBILE TRAILS ARE FOR SNOWMOBILES ONLY
NO WHEELED VEHICLES.
This is state law. Please kindly tell anyone offending to exit our trails immediately or call the authorities.

When the snow is slushy or low: please use you head and don't tare up the trails or land owners property. Any ruts left in the trails and slushy areas will wind up freezing that way and once they freeze we can't smooth them back down with the groomer.  The ruts will be there to stay.  Please keep off the throttle a bit and use your head and help remind others to do the same thing.

Rules for marking trails: (this is not a complete list)
Ben Beer is the Trail Master. He can be reached at 319-361-2330
We can mark trails on our map only starting October 1st.
Signs are for trial marking only-They are not to be used anywhere else.
Only use the signs in barrels at the Melting Point marked for your area.
After marking a trail, all extra signs need to be returned to the Melting Point the same day so others can use them.
No new trails can be made/marked without a club vote and have to be approved by the county, state or DNR. Signs for new trails need to be ordered by April 1st.
Anyone can mark approved club trails on the map at your own risk.

All signs not on permanent post need to be pulled out by April 1st and returned to the Melting Point.

Additional trail sign notes:
Some signs are lost, stolen or damaged every year so be careful on your placement. Each year the club orders additional signs to replace them but we need to know by April 1st.
